To get an idea of what each day of Camp will consist of, see our Camp webpage for a sample schedule.
Please note: This is a sample schedule and is subject to change. The full, official schedule will be sent out to leaders and parents as the event approaches.

We never want money be the reason a student cannot attend Camp. If you have questions about applying for a scholarship, please email JohnMarshall@firstorlando.com.
Please note: Only the deposit of $100 is required to be paid up front. Afterwards, you can continue making payments up to the first day of Camp when the full payment is due.

When you register, there is an option to request roommates. Please provide your friends’ first and last names so we can place the right people with you.
While we do not guarantee roommate requests, we try our best to put you with your friends!

At Camp Orlando, all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) as well as multiple snacks are provided each day. Our food is safely prepared and served in the cafeteria by the wonderful Food Services staff at Southeastern University. If your student has any sort of allergy, food intolerance, or other dietary restriction, please provide details on their registration form when asked. We always have allergy-conscious options available at Camp, but we encourage you to have a conversation with your student at home and remind them of any specific foods to avoid.
If your student is unsure of the contents of a meal during Camp Orlando, they can always ask a Food Services staff member in the cafeteria (they will be serving our meals) or ask their small group leader or a First Orlando Students staff member for help.

See our Camp webpage for a packing list.

No. All of our groups are placed by grade and gender. We do our rooming by groups, thus students of the same gender and in the same grade will be rooming together.
If you have friends in other grades, you will still be able to hang out with them at Camp! While there are scheduled times where you’ll be required to be with your small group, you can hang out with your friends during free time, meal times, rec, and late nights.

We’re so glad you want to serve the Lord at Middle School Camp this year! Serving at MS Camp is incredibly limited. We only have a small number of Student Leader serving spots open, and current HS Student Leaders will get priority.
If we still have Student Leader openings after our current SLs have been given the opportunity to sign up, we will open up the student leader sign up form to others on a first-come, first-serve basis.

No. Leaders will be housed in the same buildings as students to provide security and easy access; however, they will not be sleeping in the same rooms or using the same bathrooms.
Exceptions will not be made for parents serving with their students.

We aim to have a leader:student ratio of about 1:6. Most of our camp groups will have around 12 students and 2 leaders.
-
Yes! We would love to have parents sign up to serve at Camp.
Please note that we cannot guarantee serving spots and we give priority to our Sunday morning small group leaders who are with our students every week. All other sign ups will be placed wherever our greatest need is.

If you have scheduling conflict with Camp, it doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t go to Camp. Students, in coordination with Student Staff and their small group leader, may get dropped off at Camp late or picked up early.
If you find yourself in this situation, please email JohnMarshall@firstorlando.com, explain the situation, and he will advise you of the best course of action!
Please note: The price of registration will not be adjusted in these cases.

We have curated the Camp schedule for you to have the best possible experience! We recommend attending for the full duration of the event.
[For scheduling conflicts, see answer above.
For nervous parents who want to pick up each night, I’d recommend getting on a call with them to ease any anxieties or direct them to a staff member who can best walk them through that.]
